Douglass Oster is picture editor and garden columnist at The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has also been a newspaper staff photojournalist for The Vindicator in Youngstown, Ohio and The Medina County Gazette in Medina, Ohio. He was also the Director of Photography at the Medina County Gazette. He is originally from Aurora, Ohio and currently lives in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
