Russ Green hangs sap buckets from newly tapped trees on the Green’s maple farm in Poultney, Vermont. The Green’s have used buckets for years, but this year doubled the amount of taps they have by starting to use sap line along with the buckets. |

A decent sized part of the day that I spent on the Green’s farm was with Russ as he went from tree to tree. He was a lot of fun to be around, constantly telling stories about different things that he's done in his life and showing me some of the interesting places on the farm. I enjoy talking with people and listening to their stories. It's also a great way to find out about places and things that can lead to great pictures. |
