Photojournalist Profile Photojournalist Bob Christy lives in Massillon, Ohio. Broken Down Heroes, his photo essay on junked cars from America’s past, is a project that he has been working on for over five years. Chisty has been a staff photographer at newspapers in Ohio and New Hampshire and has a BS in photojournalism from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Christy is currently a full-time photographer for Kent State University. He has also covered news and sports for United Press International in Ohio and provided in-depth coverage of two first in the nation presidential primaries in New Hampshire. In addition he has freelanced for the Associated Press. Before becoming a photojournalist, Chisty served in the U.S. Air Force. He is a native of Akron, Ohio.
