This was one of my first attempts at shooting motion blur action photos of football. I think that this one and the frame that followed it came pretty close to what I was looking for. It was a lot of fun playing around and trying to get this effect. For years I've shot pro, college and high school football where the expectation, if you want to work the next week, is razor sharp high shutter speed stuff. I have no problem with shooting those photos, it's just fun to occasionally try something new and see the results.
