Photo of Mass Havoc's Carl Campbell talking with his son Tim

Mass Havoc's Carl Campbell talks with his son Tim about the game just played against the Central Maine Storm as the two leave the Havoc's home field in Lynn, Massachusetts. Campbell said that he would like to play semi-pro ball long enough to be on the same team as one of his three sons.

Photojournalist Remarks

This photo caught my eye because it does a good job of illustrating how the love of football in America is passed from generation to generation. It's also kind of a fun picture because usually you see a father in his street clothes leaving the field with his son in uniform after a pee-wee or high school game or practice. This photo took on even more meaning after I interviewed Campbell quite awhile later and found out that he would like to play on the same team as one of his sons before he hangs up his cleats.
