Mass Havoc lineman Shawn Gannon gets congratulations from his daughter Fallon after the Havoc upset the perennial EFL Champion Marlboro Shamrocks during a regular season game at the Shamrocks home field in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

As I remember this team had a season record around 500. Beating the Shamrocks, the New York Yankees of the EFL, was a huge win for them. After the game ended a few of the Havoc lineman were walking around yelling and screaming and pumping their fists. Suddenly I saw this picture when I brought down the camera after finishing another shot. I had the camera set at 1/15 sec and didn't have time to up the shutter speed and attach a flash (this field is really dark by photography standards) so I just held the camera as steady as possible and let the motor-drive rip. All but one picture was sharp enough to use and fortunately this was one of the good ones. The looks on the faces of Gannon and his daughter, the way she is holding his face and Gannon's huge arms and battered helmet at his feet make this photo one of my two favorites from this story.
